- Limited edition of (the initial) 1000 copies (some sources cite only 600 copies) pressed were issued with a black sleeve with silver print and printed inner sleeve.
- Track A2 misspelled "Viborator" on back cover.

This is Motörhead's first "proper" studio album. They had previously recorded the album On Parole for United Artists Records, which was intended for a 1976 release, but the record company refused to release it. For this album, the band chose to record On Parole again in almost its entirety, with only "Fools" and "Leaving Here" not being re-recorded at these sessions. In addition, two new self-penned compositions were added - "White Line Fever" and "Keep Us on the Road" - as well as a cover of Tiny Bradshaw's "Train Kept a-Rollin'".

Recording information:

- Recorded during April-May 1977 at Escape Studios, Kent, UK.
- Remixed at Olympic Studios, London, UK.
- Co-produced executively by Motörhead.
