Although considered by some as an EP, it is listed as a full length album on their website.
This album is part of the "Emerald Sword" saga but it runs parallel to the main story and is not a fundamental episode.
Tracks 4-7 together form "Rhymes of a Tragic Poem - The Gothic Saga."
Alex Holzwarth is listed as the drummer but did not contribute to the recordings.
"Queen of the Dark Horizons" is based on the main theme of the horror picture "Phenomena", by the Italian 70's prog rock band Goblin, "Elnor's Magic Valley" is based on the Irish traditional song "Cooley's Reel" and "The Wizard's Last Rhymes" is based on the "New World Symphony" composed by Antonin Dvorak.
Recording information:
Recorded at Gate & Pathway Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany, between April - August 2001.
Mixed and mastered at Pathway Studio.
