Luca Turilli is an Italian multi-instrumentalist (guitar being his main instrument) and composer; he is considered one of the most influential and prominent modern power metal guitarists. Before playing guitar, his aim was to become part of the Italian army; however, he suffered from a cancer and was not allowed to join.
