Rùsùah was founded by Abadi Erlangga (vocals), who then invited Matt Syncope as a drummer, and found Muhammad Yusuf as guitarist and Rijal as an additional bass player. After that, Yogi Yordian was recruited as guitarist.
The band relocated to Pekanbaru in 2012.
