He is otherwise known as an "activist" of an internet trolling movement known as "Kashchenism", which originated in the late 1990s within the FidoNet and named after Kashchenko psychiatric hospital in Moscow, Russia. The "activists" referred to their victims as "patients" of a psychiatric clinic, and Timofeyev himself went under the pseudonym Medbrat ("male nurse").
