Trivia

- Jim was given the nickname "Grindhead Jim" in 1995 by Adam MacGregor, of Creation is Crucifixion fame, for his love of Napalm Death and Carcass - one that he still uses to this day.

- Jim's nickname ".50 Cal" was earned during his time in the United States Marine Corps, by a comrade who likened his blast beats to the cadence of a Browning .50 caliber machine gun.
