Despite belief, Splatterreah never signed to Relapse Records. They were supposed to be the first release on Relapse but the drummer had a verbal disagreement after it was revealed that Relapse was going to pull a fast one and try to rip the band off so the band decided not to do the deal and to also stay away from commercialism and the drummer cursed out the founder of Relapse.
