My favorite metal genre is definitely Death Metal, a wide variety of it. I know over 120 bands as of right now. I listen to death metal pretty much almost everyday. My favorite Death Metal subgenre is Brutal Death and Slam. To describe it clearly I absolutely love stuff like Putridity, Cerebral Incubation, Cattle Decapitation, Kraanium, etc. Anything that sounds like those bands I LOVE for the most part. I do like other metal genres for sure, but Death Metal will forever remain my primary favorite. I have to be in the mood to listen to any other metal genres.

I started listening to metal on October 8th, 2016. A few months before that I was a punkrocker that loved bands like NOFX, Bad Religion, and Strung Out. My musical history/journey consists of me liking strictly Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters at a young age until around 7th grade I started to discover other bands such as Green Day, Nirvana, and blink-182. A while after that I eventually found pure punk and was a heavy punkrocker. A few months following my punker days I found metal, with Slipknot being my first metal band. I started listening to Death Metal around March 2nd-4th 2017, with my first DM band being Cannibal Corpse. When it came to death metal I pretty much listened to only them forever until I found Dying Fetus in September of that year, and they opened my eyes to tons of other bands and brought me to where I am in music these days.

My top 5 Death Metal bands are Morbid Angel, Decapitated, Vital Remains, Cattle Decapitation, and Dying Fetus (probably). My top 5 DM bands list isn't exactly ranked, but Morbid Angel will always be my favorite Death Metal band above all and any others.

My main hobbies usually consist of listening to alot of music, on average 5+ albums per day, playing video games on my 3DS (usually Animal Crossing, various Mario games, Pokemon, and NDS shovelware), biking, and writing album reviews on this website. I finally got a switch 3 days ago! (10/15/2020). Animal Crossing: New Horizons is very great and I can't wait to try out some other games as well!

I pretty much listen to only metal and a few rock/punk rock bands when I'm feeling it. I'm not into any rap/hip hop stuff at all, nor am I that into rock, I do like rock but only a select amount of bands. As for rap and etc, it's just not my thing at all. I like music that has actual instruments. I sure as hell am not a person that'll bash another for liking rap nor do I "despise" music like it, it's just not my thing in the slightest. I can vibe with pretty much anything within the realms of "rock music", but I dislike bands that have an "emo" or "emocore" sound/style, no thanks.
