I'm a long time viewer of metal-archives.com, but I just joined. My favorite bands are Burzum, Windir, Bergthron, Darkthrone, and most black metal that's good and loud, raw isn't a necessity (hence me liking Windir) but it's a plus some times. I like primitive black metal, and Viking. I hate subsets of the genre, as I think that's retarded, but that seems to be how most people divide it. It's all black metal to me, if it's cold, hateful, and historical, it's fucking black metal.
