I've been around metal all my life. My father got me into it because he loves classic acts like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. I didn't really get into the metal scene until I was about 13, but when I did, I enveloped myself in it. Recently appreciating thrash a lot more, I hope I can come to appreciate all metal genres, even if they are different to those listed above.
