I am a guitar player in a band called Korruption based in Dallas Tx. I previously played in the black/thrash band Maiestas. The band Korruption is my own band where I compose all the music. I played in Maiestas since 1998, and the other guitarist in that band wrote all of the music founded the band's name. I decided in the begining of 2012 that since I am a competent vocalist and riff composer, that it was time for me to form my own band from scratch with new musicians. I have known the drummer in Korruption for the past ten years, and we'd often discussed forming a new band but since I was playing with Maiestas it never seemed likely until early 2012 when I stopped playing in Maiestas and founded Korruption. Our biggest influences are Black Sabbath, Venom, Possessed, Motorhead, AC DC, Raven, Kiss, Overkill, Viking, Dark Angel, Six Feet Under, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse (Barnes-era only) Destruction, Autopsy, Disastrous Murmur, Pungent Stench, Disharmonic Orchestra, Death, Suffocation, Artillery, Pestilence, OLD Sepultura, Vulcano, Holocausto, Hellwitch, Gorguts, Cryptopsy, Sadus, Cancer, Omen, Maiden, Priest, Fate, Diamond, Kreator, Nuclear Assault, Satan UK, OLD Fates Warning, Warlord, Death Angel, Exodus, Testament, and the big four thrash bands of course. We draw out influences primarily from the classic 80s period for our music but we listen to all forms of metal and rock
