Long-time Archives enthusiast. I was a reviewer for metalcdratings.com (billed as Creag for various reasons), from 2006 until the site stopped updating in 2014, writing 222 full reviews. I was also an occasional collaborator for the now-defunct rockontheweb.co.uk.
I may possibly do reviews on request since I have nothing else on at the moment. PM me on the forum if you want to make a request.
Personally I think a percentage system is a bit too precise a marking scheme (I don't know how I'd decide the difference between a 71% album and 73% one). For my own reviews, I'll mainly be giving scores only on the 10s as equivalent to marks out of 10. Some albums will get an additional 5 (eg. 65% or 6.5/10) if it's too close to call.
Metal CD Ratings reviews are marked out of 5. The reviews I have ported over to here have been adjusted accordingly (3.5/5 = 7/10 = 70%) with some slight adjustments for the extra leeway the Archives' rating system allows.
Rock on the Web reviews were marked out of 10. The reviews I ported over to here were adjusted accordingly (6/10 = 60%).
Most of my reviews follow the "band name - album title" naming convention; this is just because Metal CD Ratings as a site didn't require titles for reviews. I've decided to go through my back catalogue and retrospectively add some original titles for the sake of a little originality.
Take anything written before 2008 with a pinch of salt, and just don't read anything from before November 2006 at all.
