I write reviews of music for The Sound Projector at www.thesoundprojector.com. For the time being, TSP is an online zine with occasional print editions that focus mainly on interviews with some reviews of physical releases (CD, vinyl, cassette) of music.
My main music preferences are black metal, doom metal, Japanese psychedelic guitar music (Keiji Haino, Fushitsusha and some others), noise, some kinds of neo-folk and archival electronic music (Kurenniemi, Raymond Scott, Iannis Xenakis are a few examples). I'm happy to listen to anything potentially worthwhile as I kid myself that I'm open and broad-minded.
In addition to writing reviews, I have a film review blog Under Southern Eyes at www.undersoutherneyes.edpinsent.com where I write review / essays that degenerate into rants about politics, culture, philosophy and history. I've also written short stories of speculative fiction, most of which I've uploaded to Scribd.com.
