I'm extremely passionate about music; however, not simply metal. I'm also an avid listener of trance, ambient, jazz, and classical. In fact, metal has been my most recent music discovery, though it is far and away my favorite genre of music.

How my rating system works:

97 - 100: Some of the best albums the genre has to offer. If you're looking to explore a new genre, these albums are fantastic starters.
89 - 96: Very good albums all around, with perhaps a couple minor flaws.
76 - 88: Above average albums. Maybe one major flaw with several minors. Includes "For the fans only" type of albums.
66 - 75: Merely average; multiple flaws, but still listenable. May appeal to a select few, but leaves much to be desired.
30 - 65: Poor. Albums in this range are bad, and there's no other way around it. I strongly discourage obtaining these albums, as they reek of a serious attempt at music gone to hell.
29 - 0: You'll weep knowing you can never have those precious minutes of your life back.
