Every few years various genres and sub-genres of Metal receive some modicum of popularity with the mainstream, and every few years parades of fakes and sound-a-likes come out of the woodwork to get a piece of the action. After the dust settles and the hype predictably ends, these so-called "musicians" that claim to be Metal leave us for greener pastures, and we become a nostalgic moment in their life they reminisce about, as if it ended when the money did, or it turns into a sore spot they feel they have to brag about, to get sympathy from their industry friends when they leave the scene. Good riddance. These pieces of shit were never a part of anything I was. If it's in your heart, it outlasts the trends and fads. If it's in your heart, it's forever.
