Astareth is the name of a former NY death metal band, based out of White Plains, NY. Since the band broke up in the autumn of 2009, the band members have been making music under the band name Imperial Crypt. They decided to use the Astareth name as the "label" they used to distribute the Imperial Crypt merch (and merch by any of the band member's side projects).
