UDO delivers live. - 85%

icedray, April 28th, 2003

One of the more underappreciated outfits in metal, imo. This band has been releasing solid metal albums for over a decade and does not seem to get much recognition. The simple fact that it is Udo Dirkschneider's solo band should be enough. Well, if you have not looked into this band, this double live album is a good place to start.

I can't think of a better way to start this album than with "Holy" and "Raiders of Beyond" - 2 kick ass UDO tunes - and then go into one my fav Accept songs "Midnight Mover". If this trio does not cause severe whiplash then you, my friend, have no pulse. The band sounds tight and the production is quite good for a live album. The UDO catalogue is well represented here pretty well. There are also a few other Accept tunes which have not been on any Accept live albums such as "Turn Me On", "Winter dreams", "TV War" and "Monsterman". Then the album end with the godly UDO tune "They Want War"!

Highly recommended for traditional metal fans.
