The Invasion

I'll admit I didn't begin listening to this track with high expectations, but the ones I had were blown away. The first thing to point out is that despite it being a demo, the production quality is much higher than you would expect from a band this small. The instruments all come through clearly and distinctly.

Now lets get into the track itself. The style this band uses is very unique and I honestly have never heard anything like it. While I do think that deathcore/thrash is fitting it is more like death/thrash with some major deathcore influences, and those influences show in the best ways. Its there in the vocals and it is absolutely there at the 2:15 mark. The band uses Thrash and deathcore stylings in different parts of the track to keep the song feeling fresh for the entire 6 minutes of the song. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for good thrash.

The only small nitpick I have about the song is the gang shouts after the solo but that is more my personal preference than anything else. The band is obviously very competent musicians for their age with songwriting skills better than many other artists I have enjoyed. I am eager to see what the 2021 brings for this band.
