Antihuman BM vs. Slavonic Black Metal! - 90%

Mysticus, February 27th, 2007

When I got this EP from Adramelech (Inferno) I was pretty surprised with really perfect gatefold design and splattered vinyl design (also classic black wax vinyls were made) . So, at first I must say that design of EP is very well and contains everything that release must have.

But let's to talk about music. Inferno is one of the bestest Black Metal bands from Czech Republic. First track "Pohanske Mece" (engl. "Pagan Swords") is one of the most interesting song from this horde. Original comes from debut album "Duch slovanske sily" and I can say that one is killer song with raw and hateful riffs, lyrics and powerfull atmosphere. It kick ass. The second one "Prilis hrdi pro pozemsky zivot" is taken from last album "Nikdy nepokrteni". Another masterpiece from Inferno, but this live accomplishment is bit aggressive due to hateful presentation of singer's vocals.

The side of serbian blackmetallers The Stone includes two songs too. Track "Bogovi od Srebra" comes from debut CD "Slovenska Krv" (but I'm not sure) and the second "Unverted Evil" isn't for me well-known. Maybe it comes from early era, when the band was signed under the name Stone to Flesh (?!?). Anyway both songs are really good with solid melodic riffs. One thing with I'm not much satisfied is the singer's vocal presentation. Damn, I can't hear his vocals (or screech), and if yes, just the little bit. I know, it's not the problem of band but it really sucks.

Really good split EP, highly recommended for all fans of classic Black Metal without any bootless experiences. Just antihuman Black Metal vs. Slavonic Black Metal.... get in touch.
