Its a demo. It can go either way.
This sounds really nice, but when you think about it, some bands may run out of actual GOOD material when they start putting out albums. And consistancy can help effect that for the worst, as well.
Musically, this is more brutal death. I usually hate the genre, it just comes off as frog screams and insanly fast hammering on whatevers in front of you. In this case, thats entirly untrue. Its well thought out, it sounds good, and who can't love the titles?
The vocals don't quite form the lyrics that are supposed to have been said, but that dosn't really matter. They sound good compared to your normal brutal death vocals, and you know what? Thats good. EXTREMELY good. The guitars grind in an OK way, but you always know you've heard better. The band deserves recognition, but not Vital Remains recognition. That would be overrating the band horribly.
Back on track, the drummings catchy too. Featuring fast beats, faster beats, and beats that are a bit slower then the fast ones. So pretty much bland drumming that widdles its way into the middle of everythign and sounds good doing it, which is suprising from a BDM album. You get teh feeling the full length won't be as good, though... Lets hope thats not true, shall we?
