I must thank the men and women at Senseless Life Records for linking me to some of their new releases. I was very pleased to find new quality material from some small name bands. Some nice black metal and dark ambient to be found on this release not the freshest material but in good quality.

Not the rawest material I've heard from the black metal genre, nor the heaviest but indeed well put together. The production fits well for the genre, the guitar is well emphasized but maybe a little thin. Drums sound pretty good, maybe a bit plasticy but forgiveable. Vocals are put lower in the mix then what I'm used to but this helps emphasize it instrumentally.

The drums pack in some nice beats. Lots of double pedal sections and nice fills thrown around to keep the tempo up. The drummer holds his own well. Its nice to see him put higher in the mix, definitely helps him shine.

The guitars seem to have more emphasis on melody then I'm used to for black metal. The tone of them plus their placement in the mixing gives them a very generic sound but they manage to pull through. The solos are well done. The bass though is inaudible most of the time.

The vocals are strong. Fitting for black metal though I'm not sure exactly what words to use to describe them, raspy would be my best word for it. I honestly couldn't tell you what the lyrics describe. I believe they are in polish though I could be wrong. Makes the vocals all the more interesting, let's my imagination run a bit more wild.

The dark ambient throws in some nice curve balls, helps prevent the band from becoming a stale and boring. Adds some beauty, adds extra atmospheres that I believe the band wouldn't be able to pull off otherwise.
