Hævi mætal og hass - Greatest Hits 1986-96 Volume 1

Red Warszawa's first album has grown to be an undisputed classic in Danish heavy metal. Most "younger" people (under 30) in Denmark can sing along on these songs which are both well played and lyrically hysterically funny!

With tracks like Hurra Skolen Brænder (Hooray the school is burning), Norsk Black Metal (Norwegian Black Metal), Lugter af Fisk (Smells like Fish), Børn er Dumme og Grimme (Kids are dumb and ugly) and Jeg Hader Alle Mennesker (I hate all people), the band really managed to record an album with songs that really can get people going crazy and singing along. I've been to 2 RW concerts and both times were fucking awesome. They're drunk as shit when they're on stage but somehow they're still able to put on a good show every time they play (and wtf, people in the audience are drunk too :-))

Well, musically Red Warszawa is heavy fucking metal. This album could just as well have been recorded in 1986. You can headbang, you can mosh, you can sing along and there even is a few slower tunes just to make a little variety, but most of the way it's heavy fucking metal (and hash) :-)

When I sit around with some friends and we're going to drink a case or 3 of beer, Red Warszawa is what we put most of the time and especially Hævi Mætal og Hass! This album is the perfect drinking album! :-) but even if you're not drunk/drinking, this album is still very recommendable. The songs are well written and well played so it's definetely an album you can listen to no matter what :-)
