First of all, good work Prematory. There are a lot of young bands in Belgium, all trying to get recognised in the metal scene.
Production
The production is, for an EP, very good. Although this is arguable, in my opinion it's good enough. When you listen to this EP, you enjoy the music and you think: it's an EP, not a full album. This production is pretty good since the EP is selfproduced. Prematory stands for thrash, with some groove influences, so for some good thrash songs, we don't need a super-polished production.
Bandtalk
Everyone does a good job. Simon's vocals reach from singing to grunting. Although in some songs, like 'Hill Of Descending', his voice loses some power, but that's a detail. The rythm guitar is ok. The lead guitar is suprised me a lot. The drumming is good, but the bass drum volume should have been higher. And also important, you can actually hear the bass guitar! And god he does his job well.

The Titan Songs
Lets talk about the music, as it is the point of a review.
The EP kicks of with 'Hill Of Descending', a decent song with some suprises. The rythm is typical, slower paced thrash. Some headbanging will be in place. At 3/4 of the song, there is an acoustic part, followed up by a nice but slow solo. A very chill part, with nice bass (can be heard very good here)in the background. The song ends after another refrain.
The second song is 'Stuck In A Ditch'. The rythm guitar here presents nothing new. After some rythm stuff, the solo kicks in, and a fast one this time. This guy knows what he's doing. After the solo, the rythm part before the solo continues. Another good song, thank you Prematory.
The third song is called 'Thrashin About'. The song begins slow paced, but contains several faster riffs. The singing, drumming and stringstuff is again very well done. This song is a real headbanger. It has lots of energy and variation. When the refrain kicks in, you'll want to sing along the lyrics, unless your banging your head to the stage because Prematory takes his price! This song will make crowds go wild.
The fourth song is the titlesong. This is a real party number. If you stop the headbanging, it's only to yell 'WE'RE THE TITANS'! The song starts slow, as is typical for this EP. Then the guitar introduces the main riff, and soon the band follows it by unleashing bass, drums, and killer vocals. The vocals sound particulary good on this song, and this is the only song on the EP where Simon shows off his gruntskills. The song is generally fast. After the original refrain, a small break comes in where the grunting begins. After a while a solo follows up. Again the guitarist amazes me! After the solo, the song is continued as we knew it so far. Simon goes back to thrash vocals, yelling 'we're the titans'. This is the perfect ending song of an EP, but...
... there is still the fitfh song.
As you listen to this song, you notice that this isn't Prematory's style. This song is an instrumental piece of art, concentrated on the lead guitar. The song is played by Prematory, but belongs to the soloproject of their lead guitarist, Joeri. It is no Steve Vai or Yngwie Malmsteen, but beautiful to hear. The only bad thing about the song is the ending: it just stops all of a sudden. But nevertheless, a very nice supplement for this EP.
Conclusion
Prematory delivered some nice work. I hope that more material is on its way! This is a band to keep in mind.
