At the Throats of Man Forever

I don't even have a good reason to give this a 97% instead of a 100%. I guess I just don't like giving anything a 100% unless I know for a fact that it is the greatest album of all time, which I can't. But nevertheless, this album is absolutely flawless, If you enjoy death, thrash, and grind then you will surely enjoy this EP.

Population Reduction is the epitome of a two-piece metal machine, just guitars and drums that deliver some of the best mixture of thrashing deathgrind. The guitars in this EP are perfect for death metal; very crunchy sound and just absolute fantastic riffing. The drums are perfect thrashing grinding madness, the drummer is very good at doing some great thrashing and mixing some time changes that just make it great for deathgrind. The vocals are probably one my favorite aspects of Population Reduction, they have three distinct vocal tones, A deep gutteral tone, a screaming tone, and like a tone I can't even describe in words; just amazing.

So if you want to hear some amazing thrashing, death metal grinding madness, Population Reduction is the band for you. My personal favorites from this release are Ebola Attack, Technical Difficulties at the Tri-State Crematory. But really, every song is a favorite from me, I have probably listened to this release, along with everything else P.R. has released twice a day since I first heard it. So if you can get your hands on this EP or any other Population Reduction stuff, buy it immediately.
