Perversor - Cult of Destruction

A killer debut! - 90%

SanctaSedes, June 3rd, 2009

Trying to give a clear picture of what Perversor sounds like I'd say it's something between Throneum and Sarcofago with raspier vocals, without hyper-blasts and whith a pleasant dose of alcoholic aura. If you're into oldschool death-thrash than there's no way you won't bang your head after a few beers while listening to this.

Riffs are quite simple, there aren't any solos (that's the only drawback in my opinion), but the arrangements make these tracks intense all the way through. Another cool thing about the album is that the vocals are almost in the backround; by this approach it sounds somewhat more ominious.

After having listened quite a few times to this release I am not really suprised why NWN released this stuff even though this band is not yet well known. Definitely worth to get.
