Ossuary - We Await the Secret Conspiracy

Total Death Metal Madness - 90%

grave_violator_91, April 27th, 2007

This demo consists of two new songs they've worked over the years,a classic Sarcofago cover(the laws of the scourge),and two live songs from earlier demos. The vocals are pretty good...they aren't the typical death metal growls you usually hear from any death metal band, his vocals are more of a Martin Van Drunen style, but a bit more harsher. The guitar players are very fast and are very hard to keep up,they had very good riffs that would make the Hoffman bros of Deicide a run for their money. The drummer did not have a problem with this,he played pretty good blast beats but sometimes he would get ahead of himself. That is the only problem I have with this demo.

A key track: Celebrating the cure

This song has all of the elements to make a classic. This reason i love this track so much is because it is a pretty technical song in the beginning and then suddenly slows down to a acoustic part which is brilliant and then it is pretty consistent with the same riff. Then its followed by another acoustic part with a pretty solid riff from the rythem guitar. Then ends with a couple of fast riffs and a pounding from the drummer.

If you like Sarcofago or any other old school metal bands you should really try to find this demo.
