To be honest, if this was released 1985 I would really really like this if it wasn´t for the terrible vocals. The riffs are there, the production is a bit too clear and modern but works pretty good for this old school thrash metal band. The songs start up really good but it all falls apart as the singers hardcore-y voice begins to whine and nag.
Also, the influences are sometimes too obvious. Nuclear Assault and Forbidden repeatedly comes to mind. There is a lack of originality, but really summons up the mid/late 80s thrash scene.
But it´s not all bad; the riffs are brilliant, the song structures are always varied and contains just the right amout unpredictability. You should also keep in mind that this is just a foretaste of what will emerge from this Falkenberg band.
