...Or pissed off that someone could write material that outdoes/matches their output on Alice In Hell. This is the closest comparison I could come to for this album. Plenty of rhythmic parts that almost sound like melodic lines, a heavy paranoid atmosphere, and technique and technicality that still conveys plenty of feeling. Of course, the vocalist/guitarist Sebastian Synowiec opts for a more guttural approach (Think of J├Ârgen Reil and Mille Petrozza on Pleasure To Kill mixed together with a hint more depth).

Hearing a harmony in the ending of a riff is to be expected, as are many, many solo breaks after a chorus, a verse, etc. As mentioned before, this album has a paranoid atmosphere about it, probably due to the isolated feel of each instrument. The guitars are there in the front, the crashing and creaking of a cymbal can be heard throughout, if you listen you can hear the bass, but the vocal's place in the mix is odd. They have been put in the background almost, making Sebastian seem not as much as a vocalist, but rather a voice in the back of your mind. The melodic break around 1:24 on Ante Meridiem seems to be pleading for some release from the manic intensity that comes not from any brutality or speed, but just the feel of it all, only to be put back into the fray a mere 10 seconds later.

Aside from this, there is a technical display that I find at once restrained and artful. Everything here falls into place and flows without much trouble, come whatever odd song structure you might get faced with, it'll all make sense. Look at track 6 "Audience Not Allowed", for an example. It flows from that thin melodic line to a full on tech-thrash riff, then to a verse riff, which decides to turn into a slow doomy section of chord sustains then creeping riffs, all to go back to the verse riff. All this occurs within two minutes, and I've described only about 1/3rd of the song. The solo breaks hardly shred that much, but they do some majestic leads in there. A sweep there, and a tremolo there, sure, but don't expect anything like Malmsteen.

I've no clue why this is called a death metal band, as this is a great example of some of the more modern breed of thrash metal.
