Hailing out from Italy, Lunarsea have been creating havoc since it's origin in 2003. Previous line up consited of: Angelo Musmeci (Halfmoon) - vocals and a short list of drummers: Laiorf Molgorl (2003-04), Francesco Martino (2004), Claudio Testini (2005-07) (I Suffer Inc, Ghouls, System Failure) and Alessio Colonna (2007). Lunarsea's current line-up are: Stuart Franzoni - drums, Cristian Antolini - bass & vocals, Emiliano Pacioni - guitars and Fabiano Romagnoli - all guitars & synth.
These guys are right in your face with thier music which is loud and powerful melodic Death Metal mixed with an influence of electro synth and a bundle of catchy riffs. Great solo work is found here, extremely tight percussions and killer vocals both with clean and growl the raunchy vocals are dominating here which is excellent letting the nice angelic yet masculine clean vocals be the lacing. Love the vocal harmonizing especially in the 8th track "Infinite Process One". "Route Code Selector" has an intelligent brutality to it, very well mixed and produced, there are no flaws to be found in it's creation what-so-ever. High voltage is the best way to discribe this album which will not give it's listener time to rest nor feel tired. Awesome surprising breaks here and each track is defined from the next, timing, percission and transition are all perfected in this album's creation. "Route Code Selector" is the second album under the belt for Lunarsea and it looks as if they will continue to keep growing in the right creative direction, killing it with expressive brutality all the way.
This one gets a full 100 points all the way - give it a listen!
