Limited to 333 copies, this is definitely the best of the many Lucifugum demos, being recorded back in their prime days long before Bal-a-Myth’s death. The tape starts right into it with grinding screams, heavily distorted guitar, well-place keyboards, and a tight rhythm section. Sticking to the more mature Black Metal subjects, the lyrics revolve around dreams, nature, and general darkness, while the music is raw, but clear and well structured. The four great tracks are topped off with the chilling outro, “Wolves...” Unfortunately, like the reviewer of “On Hooks to Pieces”, I too found myself with useless Ukrainian liner notes, but the quality of this demo makes up for this “kvlt” arrogance.
