A Taste of Blood

I bought this DVD because it was only $2 and looked like it had some chance of being cool. The singer of this band is completely fucking insane. Lots of footage of him peircing himself with various objects (nails, safety pins, etc), draining his blood into a glass so a chick can drink it, stapling his mouth shut, trashing a house, fighting a guy at a show, and so on and so forth. He's completely a more extreme version of GG Allin. I guess these dudes are very wealthy or something because they enjoy smashing their equipment and even submerge all of it (including drum set) in a pool so they can play underwater in one of the music videos.

The music is pretty fucking bad for the most part. The keyboards completely drown out the guitar and bass. That is, until the last song! The last song on this fucking rips! And suddenly they're all like black metal dekt out with spikes and axes and shit. The last song's like crusty hardcore black metal. The bassist for this video looks like a zombie Frank Zappa, too!

All in all, if every song was like the last one I would give this a 90 because the footage is really entertaining. Don't spend more than $3 on this.
