Irremediable

Excellent in nearly fucking every way I mean seriously these girls are beyond talented; they are literally the future of Gothic Metal. Now the genre states they are ‘epic gothic metal’ but you can clearly hear some black metal in each song they do. Even though this group of over talented girls only has done singles and demos they can become the next big thing in metal for sure!

1) Irremediable: Is the first track and actually the very first song I listened to by Kayzen. Instantly this song breaks down into this evil sounding tone which makes me want to listen to more. The guitar riffing is faster and surely appeals to black metal more. Although somewhere in the middle of the track the song becomes more melodic with perfect tempo and rhythm. M. Arts harsh vocals in this track are perfect and crisp, driving straight into the soul of any listener.

2) The Seducer: This song has a totally different beat and style behind it. The beginning of the track actually includes an orchestra with the angelic voice of Hiara behind it. Of course they couldn’t leave out those perfectly toned guitars right? It wouldn’t be right if they did, well do not worry because they added those in with the orchestra and Hiara’s lovely voice.

3) Sensual Chasm: “Sensual Chasm” begins with a very fast paced, chaotic and dark sound to it. It stays this way until the middle of the track when it becomes a bit more like death metal almost. You can hear blast beats and a solo that adds flavor and uniqueness to this compilation.

4) Ablaze: The beginning of this track plays a very catchy and simple guitar riff but it literally drags you in. Then out of nowhere it breaks into this black metal sound with the lead vocals of M. Art and Hiara. Who both work well together with the harsh vocals of M. Art and the angelic voice of Hiara. They keep a very catchy and slow paced tempo throughout the whole song giving it a very gothic metal quality to it all. Drummer and bassist keep up and add flavor and perfect tempo throughout the whole song.

5) I’m Here Again: Catchy as fuck my friends, this song is surely one of my favorite songs on this compilation. It has the drive and melodic nature of gothic metal but the distortion and darkness of black metal! Each time these girls impress me with each track because each track is different and has its own drive behind it.

6) Dark Celebration: Is surely faster paced and chaotic than some of the other tracks. You can hear more black metal in this song than in songs like Ablaze. This song has a very dark tone to it but the lyrics are surely grab people’s attention. Just like before the harsh vocals are impressive and like always girls kick ass at growling/harsh vocals!

Overall this compliation was an excellent listen and I to this day enjoy this band. I hope they continue showing everyone what they can do!
