This is the third Inquisición's album. With a new singer (Paulo Domic) and after three years without official releases, the band give us a powerfull disc of Heavy Metal with lyrics about recently history of our country, Chile ("Caravan Of Death", great song!), occultism and delicious darkness' themes... Ah! also they give us a new hymn of Heavy Metal music: "Up The Metal Hammer!"... look at the sound and lyrics.
The musicians have a lot of technic and passion... they play fast, furious and hard! We can feel the Manolo's guitar ripping our hearts out with incredible solo's and riffs... Cristián's bass is intense but fast too... look at "River Of Weeping", great job!... in the other hand, Paulo's voice makes me remind the golden years of the 80's Heavy Metal... influences are clear, maybe R.J.Dio and Jeff Scott Soto were Paulo's gods when he was younger. Finally, Carlos' made a great job, because he configurates a solid base with his drums, givin' security to the rest of the band.
The three final tracks are in spanish... the Rata Blanca's influence in Paulo's writting is clearly (he wrotte the lyrics and the music of these). For me, is a wonderful intention to get Heavy Metal near the spanish language...
You have to run to buy this release... for me, the best record of this fuckin' year (2004)!!
