Here is a one man project that exists already for a few years. That’s the 1st album, after a demo tape that got spread well in the underground. It starts with an intro of some bestial growling a la’ Wagner-Antichrist and then evolves into a mixture of blasting Death/Thrash like Vulcano/Sarco’fago, cool solos that could fit a traditional HM band and some more mid-slow “ritualistic” parts too. It might sound a bit boring in the beginning, for except for the cool solos – the first few songs here sound monotonous and repetitive, but this is a grower that requires more listening in order to get into.
The overal feeling of this album is raw, yet the sound is still decent and has a full length and not demo production. All in all – it’s not innovative, groundbreaking stuff, but not just another typical clone that has nothing of its own to suggest. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into South American Black/Death! Last but not least – don’t get fooled by the similarity between the band’s name and Hellhammer, since there’s not much in common between them.
