Forgotten Soul

I really consider these dudes one of a kind. Their raw atmosphere is really one of a kind. They create such a dark, hatred filled atmosphere throughout all the songs they have. This demo is no disappointment when you listen to these guys. I don't want to say that this album is for the weak, but it takes a certain person to enjoy this kind of music. If you're looking for the most extreme black metal in a way, then this demo will be for you. It is not for the typical raw black metal fan. These guys really create music for the most extreme fans of the genre and they do not disappoint.

When you first listen to this album you may notice that the whole demo has no drums. Which you can take with that what you will, but I see it as creating a darker atmosphere. It makes the album colder. The riffs are really the epitome of the whole project. Which is really important from a metal stand point. Without riffs, you don't have a song. The album is full of great riffs. You can really hear the Leviathan and Burzum worship in the riffs. It really makes the whole project in my opinion. The tone of the guitar really creates something cold and dark. Which is really what black metal is about. I cannot say enough good things in the demo, it really is a lot of great riffs with such a cold atmosphere.

The vocals in the mix are super static sounding, which honestly sound amazing. It sounds so hate filled and nothing sounds alike to it. I really enjoy how easily it fits into the mix of the album and sounds so raw. He really just pours his hatred and emotion into these vocals and I find it to be a work of art honestly. The whole album is just focused on creating such a dark piece of art I enjoy. It is not for everyone but I recommend it for fans of extremely raw black metal and want something that is hate filled.
