Archaic

I'm not a expert when it comes to technical death metal, nor am I a huge fan of it honestly, but this is a pretty badass album. This album for the most part is amazing. The only few downsides to it is that it's relatively short and the drums tend to bother me since it sounds like the drummer has a tin can for a snare. I've heard they re-released Archaic though a couple years back and fixed the drum tracks, so it wouldn't be a problem if you had that version.

The songs I recommend the most off this album are In Memory, Human Puzzles, Depredation, and Necrotic Zombie. These songs stand out to me and just beat the piss out of you. In Memory has a one minute break at the beginning of the song, but when the guitar kicks in all I have to say is, wow! Human Puzzles is just heavy as all fuck. The guitar riff and the blasting from the drums blow you out of your seat.

I'm very glad I was able to find this album because it's very good. I recommend it to anyone who is a death metal fan. Hopefully these guys will have more releases in the future because this was a good find, plain and simple.
