Dirty Pussy Maniac​

As if covering Barbatos on their debut EP wasn't enough of a hint, Demonslaught 666 went on to show their love for the Japanese thrash/punk/black metal act with this homage song entitled 'Dirty Pussy Maniac'. Yes, I too wish I could quote the lyrics. In any case, the ability to recognize one's influences so capably is not to be ignored, and the Chinese act probably do at least as good a job as Barbatos themselves of making this into a reasonable song. Not that it's the right word in the context, but the performance is tighter than you'd think, with the vocals (now a lower-pitched version of the original screeches) the sloppiest element of all compared to the precise drumming and impulsive black speed riffing. 'Blasphemous Ejaculation' forms a nice set with the title track, making this a filthy release in general. On this occasion, the riffing reminds a little more of classic Motorhead, but by the time we hit the strident verse the regular influences of Hellripper and so on are reinstated. Both tracks still retain vestiges of the youthful ideas that Demonslaught 666 began with, developing almost nowhere in terms of new ideas, though proving fairly enjoyable experiences of driving chaos. Just, um, remember to bring some wet wipes or something.
