Brazil is another popular country in the metal scene. And they deserve it, some of the best metal bands from all time are from there. Bands like Sepultura, Sarcófago, Angra, Krisium, Rot, Mystifier, Offal and Lymphatic Phlegm. The last 2 bands helped to popularize the goregrind music genre in Brazil.

The album cover of their debut demo caught my attention. It's really sickening and morbidly funny. You see this artwork and you know instantly that is from a goregrind band.

Like most goregrind records, this band uses samples before the songs. But instead of movies, they use actual samples from real news or videos. All of their lyrics talk about some real event that happened in Brazil. The best example is the song "Pedro Rodrigues Filho", one of the most heinous serial killers in the history of humanity.

Musically, the band is just as sickening as their art and lyrics. The vocals are pitch-shifted. The guitar riffs give a really cool "Punk" vibe to the album. The drummer also gives this "Punky" vibe sometimes with the d-beat style drumming he uses in this demo, althought he also uses the classic blast beat as well. And the raw/bad production and quality of this demo is what makes it epic. It makes the album feel even more menacing.

In conclusion, this is another typical goregrind release. If you like this genre, then give this album a try.
