Well, I just have to say that, yeah, this one isn't too bad at all. In fact, I got more out of the first thirty seconds of "Nebula-X" than I did out of the entirety of Nexus. Honestly, they should've just slapped this and Nexus together to make an EP. Little irrelevant sidenote, I'm pretty sure that this and Last Stardust are the only works to not include the band's logo since Idolator. Just needed something interesting to add, I guess.
"Nebula-X" is, honestly, a pretty good track. In fact, I'd say that it alone would be a good %. My only real issue with the track is the fact that the effects on Saika's clean vocals are back. Otherwise, everything is on point, and the synths are understated, like in Nexus.
Meanwhile, "Blue Lion"... I'm not really sure what to say about this one. See, it's alright, nothing spectacular, but every now and then, it'll be interrupted to do a little fucking trap beat as if it's the gangster rap version of the Pornhub intro. If it didn't have this, it would be an easy 60%, as Saika does mostly mids, which aren't great, but this little bullshit constantly interrupting the flow of the song just brings it down for me that much because it takes me out of what would otherwise be a pretty good experience.
I don't really have much to say. I guess at least if Nexus and this fused to make an EP, I'd get to have one medium-sized review, but instead I have two tiny little shits that are shorter than the battery life on the Mac I stopped using three years ago. Listen to "Nebula-X", it's actually damn great. As for "Blue Lion"... Man, fuck if I know.
