Leading the Plague of Yahweh to Its Grave...

This split with Bekhira and Desolation Triumphalis is probably one of the better splits i've heard. Both bands present a track that's decently composed. Bekhira's unleashed composition, destructive hate is just as cold as most of their material is. Performing an older form of black metal that is very reminding of some of Darkthrone's many works, along with a slight mix of their own sound. Not exactly unique and one of a kind, but a decently composed track worth its listen.

Though the true power in this split admittedly is Desolation Triumphalis. Desolation Triumphalis is a french black metal band that was formed after LF (of Kristallnacht and Seigneur Voland fame) had decided to depart with the NSBM scene. Desolation Triumphalis has only appeared on very rare splits with Horna, Ordo Templi Aeternae Lucis, and of course this split with Bekhira. Desolation Triumphalis is definately a memorable project to hear. A very dark yet warlike aura comes over me when listening to this project. The production of this track is pretty low end, opposite of the high end production a la Bekhira half of this split single. Desolation Triumphalis fuse accoustics with very raw low end dark black metal in small sections of the track. This adds a bit more flavor and interest in this supreme track! Somewhat repetitive in parts but this minimalism is what makes the track quite interesting.

Overall this split has the decent track of Bekhira and a good track by Desolation Triumphalis. It's nothing amazing but the tracks are each worth a decent listen.
