2-Song Demo

Bad Acid Trip is unique among grindcore bands in that they take grindcore's extremism to the next level of extreme and weirdness. Their first two albums are great examples of their great innovative style. This demo however, to put it bluntly, is bad. There's only two songs on it. In grind fashion they are short tracks being only a few minutes long. Although the music isn't that great the songs are discernible. StraVu is a short burst of weird grinding intensity, with grating drums and guitars and panicked vocals. It's decent enough for a song on a grindcore demo. Black Metal Kitchen Appliances is an absolute abomination. I suppose the band was trying to make a "parody" track or whatever, but honestly most of their music is a parody of itself already so this was unnecessary. It's a track with lyrics about kitchen appliances made of "black metal". On this song the singer uses a Cradle of Filth-ish screech, which makes the track even worse. If your looking for substantial music, this demo (or for that matter even this band) is certainly not for you. If your looking to get into Bad Acid Trip, id recommend "Lynch the Weirdo", at least on that album it sounds like the band knows what they are doing
