Only Death Is Real...

This is a fucking thrashterpiece. I remember how this band was first described to me: Blasphemy with the drummer of Von playing Hellhammer covers and holy shit that was quite the accurate description. Obviously this is blatant Hellhammer worship but where bands like Warhammer fail Apokalyptic Raids succeed. They do not totally take the exact style of Hellhammer/Celtic Frost but rather hints and make it their own kind of chaotic and hateful sound.

The drumming is really fucking sick, just good old 80's styled thrash paced stuff. The guitar tone is perfect! Really it would be awesome to see a band like AR and Vomitor from Austrailia hook up and do a worldwide tour leaving broken bodies in their wake.
