Not a lot going on here with three songs (12” version) from their three full-lengthers already in circulation, one song representing each album, none of which are the band’s best stuff, though the punchy “School Love” is probably the highlight of the debut’s bunch. “Metal on Metal” is, of course, the Anvilian national anthem that hammers slowly the march of the same-named sophomore slab. Then we have one of the more chorus-stretched commercial songs found on slammin’ Forged in Fire, “Make it Up to You” (and as far as I can tell, no remix involved). An alternate 12” version has “Hard Times-Fast Ladies” instead of “Metal on Metal” which, while not anthemic or as memorable, has more tensile strength up and down the stretch.

Not a necessity even if you don’t own the band’s discography up to this point, though if you can get it cheap (as I had), then why not?
