The first thing Anaemia has delivered to us, and it starts fucking good with a great intro, and when the music bursts loose, there is no way that this is going to be disappointing, you might think.
But no, the first track, Torsofucking Limbless Sluts, begins very good, and very fast, but at the end of the song, they suddenly go very slow, I don't know why they do this, but it doesn't give me any feeling, except that I hate this part. This wouldn't be so bad if it were about 15 seconds, but they keep it up for more than a minute, that's more than 1/3 of the fucking song. The song is great, but this part ruins it.
Then comes the second track, Pussyfart Inhaling Fetishist, no intro this time, they just go as fast as they can, and show their most brutal side, real death metal ladies and gentlemen! But then they go on slow again in the middle of the song, without creating any feeling, which implies they are going to ruin this song as well, but they compensate for that quite fast, and go fast again, but not so fast that you want to turn it off, but just fast enough, like they do the whole time on their fast parts.
The third track, Inducing Mass Carnage, has a very short intro, and starts very fast, and guess what? They are slowing down once more, luckily they do not go really slow this time, and the track isn't spoiled for a second because of this part, this is truly the only slow part on the release that I actually like, and the fast parts are really varied. Downside: This is also the shortest track on the whole release, which only lasts for about 7 minutes.
The first track, which I like least, is also the longest, with 3 minutes, which is really a shame, because the song totally gets ruined because of the end. I think it's a nice release, but that the band should focus more on the fast parts, because they are varied in every way, the guitars don't just play one chord over and over again, and even the drums are quite different every time, which you don't hear a lot in death/grind releases.
Another downside of this album are the vocals. Come on guys, we have heard these kind of vocals about 10,000 times before. The guitars, bass and drums play quite varied, and are even unique, but the vocals spoil this all, because of the fact that very many bands use these kind of vocals. My tip for the band is to play more of the fast parts, or else play the slow parts in such a way that they actually create a feeling, and are not boring and irritating all the way.
