Private Judgment Day

Most of you underground death metal fiends should know of Aborted Fetus very well. Theses guys hail from Russia and started out back in 2000. Aborted Fetus plays unrelenting abusive and brutal death metal music. What else would you expect from a band with this kind of name. They play a mixture of old school brutal death metal with more modern death metal sounds. The music is quite technical at times, while at others it is just down right massive and pummeling death metal at it's finest. These guys add in a lot of flavoring of grindcore as well to their sound. A lot of this comes from the sometimes ungodly like fast pace of the drums, especially the double bass beats. They sound like a jack hammer grinding into the skull. I loved it. There is a cold and harsh vibe to their sound as well, that leaves and unsettling feeling with the listener. The whole thing is covered in gore soaked lyrics and blood curdling themes. The vocals are very low guttural gurgles and growls that strike right to the core.

Aborted Fetus has always been one of my favorite death / grind bands and especially one of the best bands to ever come out of Russia. If you dig just about any other band on the Comatose Music roster then your going to love Aborted Fetus. "Private Judgment Day" takes ever great aspect of their early career and combines it with their later stuff to give you the best offering of Aborted Fetus yet!

Just get this album and be prepared to be obliterated. Everyone could use a little Aborted Fetus in their lives!!!
