Movido por el odio

I thought Spain was a country only for mediocre power/folk metal bands like Mago de Oz or Rata Blanca. Fuck, never have been so wrong. This group is, for me, one of the pioneers of the thrash scene in Spain and this album proves what I'm talking about. Sure, it takes some inspiration from bands like Pantera ("Te Pego Una Ostia Que te Vuelo la Cabeza" is the best example of it), but what characterizes this group is the lyrics. Songs that talk about political issues ("La Puta Policia", "A la Mierda el Gobierno"), military themes ("Estas Jodido"), and even domestic violence ("A Fuerza Ostias") proves that this guys are far from another groove band.

About the music, Miguel Angel Garcia has a very powerful voice, sounding like he's being driven by hate and he's releasing it on those fucking lyrics. The rest of the members do a great job, but who wins an encore here is Francisco (guitar). Like I said, it sounds a lot like Pantera, and I admit that they have their technique.

Now the songs. The highlights for me are "Te Pego Una Ostia Que te Vuelo la Cabeza" ("I Beat You Until I Rip Your Head Off"), which talks about revenge on some asshole who murdered your beloved one, "Ke te Follen" ("Fuck You"), "Estas Jodido" ("You're Fucked"), "A la Mierda el Gobierno" ("Fuck the Goverment") and "A Fuerza Ostias", but all the tracks are strong and have a lot of feeling.

If you are searching for an aggressive thrash band, but at the same time you're searching some deep lyrics ("Autentico Imbelic", at the very end, urges you to start thinking and fight against the ones who oppress the people). This band is definitely for you.
