Report for Chimaira

I think it's important to have "nu metal" added to their genre because a handful of their earlier albums (especially Pass Out of Existence, which is almost entirely a nu metal album) back this up

heck, i'd even say The Impossibility of Reason still caries a slight nu metal sound / personality and the band carried this all the way up until about The Infection, so yeah... Chimaira definitely have had a tad nu metal edge to their sound more than half of their career.
and for that I think it's in order that the genre be changed to "Groove Metal/Metalcore/Nu Metal"

They can't possibly be JUST groove metal/metalcore because that would imply they sound exactly like Lamb of God, which they somewhat do... but comparing Chimaira to Lamb of God only shows out the nu metal influence even more when we're looking at their riffs that occasionally border on sounding like Mudvayne and Korn and vocals that have a very start-stop rhythm akin much to nu metal

Please post this on the forums, Guard. This is a rather big band and I wouldn't feel comfortable changing their genre.
