Released in Japan by Atlantic Records, and in the US and Canada by GRT Records.

The original Japanese version was reissued on CD by Atlantic Records on May 25, 1988, while a remastered version was released on CD by WEA Japan on May 25, 1998.

In 2002 this full album was included in the movie Deadly Outlaw: Rekka directed by Takashi Miike as official soundtrack. Among the actors there are also Joe Yamanaka and Yuya Uchida.
