Founded in 1977 by Kristian Blak as Havnar Jazzfelag; became Tutl in 1980. The label have given many musicians and bands of the Faroe Islands a chance to publish their material, so the genre varies from metal such as Týr and Hamferð to singer-songwriter musicians such as Teitur and Eivør Pálsdóttir.
