Radio Trípoli Discos was an independent record company Argentina. Founded in 1988 by Walter Kolm and Sergio Fasanelli remaining active until its dissolution in 1994, where Kolm accepted a proposal to direct Universal Music Latino

At first, the seal Tripoli heralded the second wave punk in Argentina in the late '80s , prompting several groups to launch their first recordings . The label name is a tribute to Muammar Gaddafi ( Libyan leader and author of The Green Book ) and the capital of the African country (Tripoli) . Many important groups of Argentine rock scene got their first official recordings , such as feeling Uncontrollable , Palestine Massacre , Javier Calamaro, Authentic Declining , Visitors , Bersuit Vergarabat , Memphis Blusera or Hermetic , Perfect Fools (now Karamelo Santo) and Command suicide among others.2 .

Tripoli became the seal as the one who gave a new identity to a number of bands that were moving through the under Buenos Aires in the late 80s and early 90s . Le given the chance to many bands , including Attaque 77 and Phlegm , to become known and then take off on your own. After the " punk explosion " in the late 80s, the stamp is dedicated to produce bands of different genres and musicians publish album and foreign bands .

Nothing was the same and the kick took him independent labels that would add to its ranks many of the bands initially promoted by Tripoli . The seal was slowly disappearing , often releasing albums very selective form of material.
